We'll ping your VPS every 5 minutes to check that it is still available, and we'll check a designated URL on your VPS to make sure that your VPS is serving web sites.

The URL test is important because a server can be available, but not be serving web sites. By carrying out the URL test we know that your site is working and returning a "200" code.

If any other code is detected, or an error is found, an email is sent to you after 2 additional "failed" tests are carried out to let you know that something may be wrong with your web site.
