MySQL

We operate centralised MySQL 5 database servers that you can use, but if you prefer to run your own copy of MySQL on your VPS we can install it, secure it, and integrate it into HELM for you.

When you run your own copy of MySQL, there's no limit to the number of databases you can create, and since it integrates into HELM you can use HELM to create your databases and database users, and PHPMyAdmin (see below) to manage them.

PHPMyAdmin

If you operate your own copy of MySQL 5.0, you'll need a way to manage your databases. HELM can create the database and database user, but it can't manage the database.

PHPMyAdmin is a web-based tool that uses PHP to administer, manage, and download your MySQL databases. It's an essential tool to install if you run a MySQL database server.

SmarterMail 5

Install a copy of SmarterMail 5 and operate your own email server from your VPS. We can also integrate SmarterMail 5 into HELM, so you can manage all your email accounts from within the HELM interface.

Better still, we'll set up our email servers to operate as backup servers for you, so if anything happens to your email server our backup servers will collect emails for you and deliver them once your email server is back online.

Mailenable 3

Mailenable is an alternative email server that you could install on your VPS. Mailenable cannot be integrated into HELM for a reseller VPS due to the way HELM operates.

As with Smartermail, we'll set up our email servers to operate as backup servers for you, so if anything happens to your email server our backup servers will collect emails for you and deliver them once your email server is back online.

There are 2 versions of Mailenable available, both of which support unlimited numbers of email accounts and domains. These are:

SmarterTrack Professional

SmarterTrack is a robust Help Desk, Ticketing System, Live Chat, Cost Analysis, Data Mining, Knowledge Base, Reporting, and Analytics software application through an elegant web interface

SmarterTrack does not integrate with HELM since it is a standalone product, and it does require a database such as MS SQL 2000, MS SQL 2005 or My SQL 4.0 or higher, to operate. If you lease the unlimited Agents version from us, we will provide a 100mb database on our SQL 2005 cluster and set-up the database for you.
