Reseller VPS Default Installation
The following is some general technical information about the basic configuration and set-up of a Windows Reseller VPS. This
information may be useful when checking whether a selected add-on will work with your VPS, or you can use this page to
refer a software developer for more information about your hosting environment.
Operating System, Drives, and Web Server
- Reseller VPS Operating System: Windows Server 2003 Web Edition R2
- VPS Software: Windows Virtual Server 2005 R2 SP1
- Host Software: Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition R2
- OS Partition: c:\ Drive. 20GB for VPS512 and VPS1024
- Web Site Partition: d:\domains - remaining disk space
- Web Server: IIS 6.0
- Application Isolation: enabled
- MS SMTP: enabled
- Email Components: CDOSYS. SMTP Relay not enabled. Email from web sites must be processed through an email account on an email server.
Scripting Languages & Software
- .NET Framework 2.0 and 3.5: supporting VB.NET and C#.NET
- ASP.NET: All sites operate in medium trust. Can be over-ridden per domain or for all sites at Reseller's request

Firewall Rules
The following ports are publicly available depending upon the software installed on your VPS. If software is
added to your VPS, such as an email server, the appropriate ports are opened in the firewall as specified below.
Additional ports will be opened to allow remote access by our staff and services, but these will be restricted to specified IP addresses only.
There are no restrictions on outgoing ports.
